An unhurried evaluation, usually by video, to understand your history and goals and outline a plan.

Common questions
Do you see patients in person?
Yes. Most visits are by video, but you are welcome at either the Los Altos or San Ramon office whenever you would rather meet in person.
What ages do you see?
Adults 18 and older.
How long is the first appointment?
Up to 60 minutes. Follow-ups run 20 to 30 minutes; therapy sessions are about 35 minutes.
How do prescriptions and refills work?
Medications are managed during scheduled appointments. Please request refills through your pharmacy, and allow a few business days for non-urgent requests.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 48 hours notice. Appointments cancelled with less notice may be charged the full session fee.
Which insurance do you take?
Anthem Blue Cross and Cigna PPO at both offices, plus self-pay. For other plans we provide a superbill you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
